I would be surprised if GA had the nuts to do an about face on his proclamation two years ago that Seth isn't cut out for QB but if he wanted to inject some life into the offense he would go back to him:
Even as a true freshman Seth had a better qb rating than DG. DG's ceiling has been reached. Seth's is still up there. I know Seth has emotional ups an downs during games but he is getting better. The offense is not going anywhere with DG as QB.
YEAR CMP ATT PCT YDS AVG TD LNG INT RAT ATT YDS AVG LNG TD
2015 Seth 83 160 51.9 935 5.8 6 44 4 108.3 108 575 5.3 42 8
2017 DG 29 53 54.7 291 5.5 1 38 1 103.3 15 32 2.1 18 1
2016 DG 73 146 50 617 4.2 3 48 4 86.8 41 174 4.2 37 3

My knee jerk reaction is to say why not? We saw again yesterday that Collins is the most dynamic, explosive player we have. This is one way to guarantee he gets a lot of touches.

Because the coach already said he isn't a quarterback and it's more important to try to maintain the appearance of knowing what you are doing, even when you are way past fooling anybody.

The staff gave up on both Seth and 3M way too early, so did a lot of the fans. There were fans call ing Nick Mitchell the "real deal" on the message boards. I thought they and the coaches were nuts. Seth looked to have all the potential but needed time, 3M had the best throwing motion but kept getting thrown into games in bad position to try to control a game.
That said, I'm not sure how much moving Seth back right now helps this year, it could help a great deal for next year if they could move him now. There would be a lot of painful mistakes, and probably a low of amazing WOW (in a good way) moments if he were moved now. Everyone would need to grit their teeth during the bad plays, not that they're not going to be gritting there teeth often the rest of the season anyways.

Coach GA. You have two weeks to prepare for the huskies. Put double deuce under center with Nall behind him and turn 'em loose. WTF you have lose? Nall needs a break, you have Pierce, Johnson and Tyner. Collins can do alot of things including passing. May not be the most accurate, but WTF? MB.

But i am sure we will continue to see Darryl unless something happens to him. Not wishing for that but it would be frustrating if Collins at QB turns out to be the spark the team needs and the coaches ignored this option.
