I think we have a very good chance to keep our domination over Cal and get a win. I'm thinking we score three touchdowns, add two field goals and win 27-21.

Battle of the prospective head coaches.
Hall the defensive minded interim coach versus Beau Baldwin’s offense.
Will be fun to watch, and I would sure like to see these players get a win!

Battle of the prospective head coaches. Hall the defensive minded interim coach versus Beau Baldwin’s offense. Will be fun to watch, and I would sure like to see these players get a win! A little known fact on this board is that California is all defense and no offense. To date, Baldwin does not look like OC material in the Pac-12, much less head coach material. Common opponents: WASHINGTON STATE 52 - Oregon State 23 CALIFORNIA 37 -Washington State 3 USC 30 - CALIFORNIA 20 USC 38 - Oregon State 10 Washington 42 - OREGON STATE 7 WASHINGTON 38 - California 7 Colorado 36 - OREGON STATE 33 COLORADO 44 - California 28 The Colorado game gives me hope, but California has been playing much better for the whole of the season. Having said that, the Bears have only beat the Beavers in Berkeley once since 1997. And California has played the past 10 weekends, whereas Oregon State is two weeks removed from a bye and has had an extra two days to prepare. The Beavers and Bears are currently last and second-to-last in the Pac-12. If Coach Hall is a legitimate head coach prospect, he will find a way to get a W on Saturday.

Road game...will be a challenge, to say the least.

I see Oregon State as a tale of two teams. The Andersen team and the post-Andersen team.
I handicap football too much and have three statistical models I use. I've learned that they are interesting and a tool, but painfully, nothing more than that. Also, the post-Andersen team has just played two games and we only have clues of who they are. Saying all that, the models say California 36 Andersen's Beavers 21 and then post-Andersen Beavers 28 California 23.

I'll be making the trip.....always love watching games in Strawberry Canyon......I have a sneaky feeling that the Beavs win this. I think Nall and Tyner are in a groove right now.....Garretson prolly had his best game last year against the Bears.
The players want Hall for coach, and I think they know the only chance in hell that happens is if they win 2 of these last four....at least. Beat Cal, Beat the Ducks.....things get interesting.....lose out, and as much as I like Hall, he doesn't stand a chance.
