How is that "salivating" working out when PAC 12 defenses attempt to stop the clearly one dimensional offense (passing) that WSU runs? WSU runs only when teams over commit to stopping the pass. How is that any different than a supposed one dimensional offense ( triple option running) that passes only when teams over commit to stopping the run? Are you sure WSU's offense is "one dimensional"? The statistics below seem to indicate otherwise. 235 runs/491 pass attempts. Definitely pass heavy, but certainly not one dimensional. Washington State: RUSHING YARDAGE 757 Yards gained rushing 1077 Yards lost rushing 320 Rushing Attempts 235 Average Per Rush 3.2 Average Per Game 84.1 TDs Rushing 7 PASSING YARDAGE 3480 Comp-Att-Int 337-491-13 Average Per Pass 7.1 Average Per Catch 10.3 Average Per Game 386.7 TDs Passing 28 TOTAL OFFENSE 4237 Total Plays 726 Average Per Play 5.8 Average Per Game 470.8 **EDIT** FYI: Navy 507 plays 444 rushes 63 passes

He turned down BYU already, it is why they hired Sitake. I'm aware, thank you. Now BYU has a dumpster fire on their hands. I predict they go back with a truckload of gold plates and he changes his mind. Call it divine intervention if you like. The gold plates are worth nothing without the seer stones.

Agreed on Tyner. Love the way he runs. Has he had his request for another year reviewed/okayed yet? I couldn’t remember, but would sure like to have him back for one more season. As for Niumatalolo: I love the strong Poly connection. I also love his innovative bent and the strong discipline and fundamentals that he brings. His teams give teams with a lot more talent fits. At the service academies, by comparison Stanford’s talent pool restrictions look minuscule. If he’s not stuck on the triple option alone, he absolutely could be a player in this search! I don't understand in what universe Tyner would get another year. His clock started ticking in 2013. This is the NCAA that starts a players eligibility for playing rec league flag football in a different country(that is not a joke). There's a clear route to a 6th year due to the injury hardship rule. Two or more seasons limited by injuries can grant you an extra year. He retired because of injuries. Practically a shoo-in.

Guess that's what happens when you just "create" a new religion! Sorry couldn't resist...

Or you will propose that the new coach guarantee to lose at least 7 games per year which has been the average for OSU for the past 30 years or so.
