to a 4-3 on defense. We have a lot of guys, that I feel could be good rushers off the edges at the DE positions.
I saw an article talking about Isaac Garcia and Kenny Turnier wanting to return?
Go Beavs!

The most pressing need whether we run a 4-3 or a 3-4 defense is improving our D line. The D line has not been getting it done. Can't stop the run, can't win. Really hoping for Breckertfield to leave Wisconsin and join 9er's staff.

The most pressing need whether we run a 4-3 or a 3-4 defense is improving our D line. The D line has not been getting it done. Can't stop the run, can't win. Really hoping for Breckertfield to leave Wisconsin and join 9er's staff. The main reason for that is not having the horses for that 3 man front. With a 4 man front, you can have those longer, lean athletes 230-250lb. range playing the Ends and then just use 2 DTs. A lot less double teams occur against your D Lineman, which gives the LBs a little bit of help, with fewer lineman getting through to the second level. No doubt we have to improve on the LOS (both sides) but the Defensive Line needs DT talent more than anything else. Not just huge bodies, but big, athletic bodies. One of the biggest issues with our defensive line this season was getting blown off the snap but also lacking the ability to keep their feet and defeat blocks to pursue the football! Go Beavs!
