Really like BIG-10 matchups - shame we weren't competent for the Minnesota series. Good add to the schedule!

2022 Sept. 3 - Boise State Sept. 10 - @ Fresno State Sept. 17 - Montana State
Wow, I need to pay more attention. When did we schedule a Home and Home with Fresno State? I thought we promised to NEVER visit that hell hole again. [Shrug], I guess by the time the game happens it will be a 20 year split between the games and I lot can change in that amount of time but I still hear the same things being said about that fan base.

Fresno St. terrible place to play and worse place to attend a game. If you go bring a hard hat and flak jacket.

LOL Fresno. Where we had a contract that they would have actual visiting team locker rooms in place before we came back, Fresno didn't even attempt to honor it. The contract read that if no visiting team locker rooms were built, Fresno would be required to use the dugout and Oregon State would have use of the adequate home locker rooms. Fresneck instead contacted John Canzano colluded with him in order to write a hit piece about how he was sitting in the dugout and it seemed "super spacious" and he didn't know what OSU was complaining about, and that they were giant prima donnas. Oh and by the way, Riley and Co still honored their end of the agreement and didn't even demand use of the home locker rooms per the contract. Instead, they dressed in shifts in a cramped baseball dugout locker room designed for 22-ish players and coaching staff, because the space physically was not large enough for over 100 players, coaches, and support staff. F Fresno, I hope it burns down to ashes.

Here's my Fresno story. A good friend and I were passing through this city last October so we could eat at an El Pollo Loco. Outside of the EPL was an uniformed armed guard. I have never seen such a deal at any fast food outlet before. Inside the place it was dirty, the ice machine was broken and one needed to get a token to use the bathroom, which was filthy. This EPL outlet looked like it had been plopped in the middle of San Quentin. As for the neighborhood and clientele, it was Gangbanger Central.
If we're lucky, the North Koreans hit Fresno, then we wipe Lil Kim off the map and as a bonus we are rid of a rat's nest in the Valley.
My favorite game against them was when DE was coaching and the Bulldogs were coming to Corvallis the year after their dirty play against our punt returner. We returned the favor and won the game convincingly. Now to see if we can ever figure out a way to win the game down there.

2020 Sept. 5 - @ Oklahoma State (Labor Day Weekend) Sept. 12 - Colorado State Sept. 19 - @ San Jose State
2021 Sept. 4 - @ Purdue (Labor Day Weekend) Sept. 11 - Hawai'i Sept. 18 - Idaho
2022 Sept. 3 - Boise State (Labor Day Weekend) Sept. 10 - @ Fresno State Sept. 17 - Montana State
2023 Sept. 2 - @ Boise State (Labor Day Weekend) Sept. 9 - OPEN Sept. 16 - OPEN
2024 Aug 31 - Fresno State (Labor Day Weekend) Sept. 7 - OPEN Sept. 14 - OPEN Sept. 21 - Purdue
Really feel they should add a 13th game in 2019. If you are gonna travel to Hawaii use the exemption to get another game. They can play it the week before labor day (same reason Colorado State was allowed to schedule us early). Even a 2nd FCS opponent would be fine. Why not get a warm up game prior to playing Oklahoma State? They can still have a bye later.

Eff that pile...

Canzano is writing hit pieces at Fresno's request AND writing message board material to incite the Huskies to target Markus Wheaton??? He's the Joker to our Batman!

Our AD is a Fresno State grad. He's not going to cancel that series.

Why is our most difficult (IMO) non-conference game consistently scheduled as the first game out of the blocks? Seems we would be better served to have it the 2nd or 3rd game...you know...to try to get our collected feet underneath us.

Playing Portland State Labor Day weekend won't fill Reser. Guessing our opponents have similar concerns. That said, in theory I agree and its why they should schedule a 13th game the week before Labor Day in 2019 since they are allowed to play 13 games in any season where they travel to Hawaii. Take advantage and get that warm up game before playing Oklahoma State.
