I know he’s been criticized by some, but man I liked his direct answers in regard to the Ohio State game. Whether or not you agree (I agree with him) at least it was an up front answer.
“Playing a one off at Ohio State is not my philosophy. We won’t do it again”
Talks about scheduling one FCS, one Mountain West type team (not necessarily MW but G5), and one mid-tier Big10 or B12 opponent as an ideal non conference slate.
He talks about the need for momentum, and momentum is gained through wins.

On an unrelated note, can we start referring to Coach Riley as "Father Mike"? Can I make that a thing? It has a nice "Local Beloved Irish Catholic Priest" kind of feel to it and for me it's kind of a little clapback at Canzano's first hit piece on Riley over the Joe Rudulph/AWB National Guardsman punching incident.

I say Yoda How bout Coach Riles; let's him sneak up on recruits and keeps the Borego writers confused about who we are referring to. That doesn't appear to take very much.

DE would schedule Idaho, Idaho State and Snake River Community College if he could
