With t-osu offensive coordinator and now QB coach getting plucked away. Let's hope the secret sauce was held by one or both if them.

It helps more that they lose about 5-6 studs off the D and JT. Although the stud RB prob gets 30+ touches. tOSU site says 41-7 with the new Qb tossing for over 300, rushing for 50.

Not knowing anything about Ohio State (besides they're very good) I'd probably take 41-7. It would be great if Smith and company could cobble something together to make the game competitive into the 2nd half but that's asking for a lot.

41-7 sounds reasonable......Urban will call off the dogs late in the 3rd.

I live in Columbus, and tOSU just reloads. With the player/coach attrition and being the first game of the season, it might be somewhat close if they were playing in Corvallis. But it will likely get pretty ugly for the Beavs in the Horseshoe.

And new quarterback. Early in the season is a good time to catch them. It wasn't too long ago that an average Virginia Tech team went in there and caught Ohio State in Columbus lacking experience at quarterback. Too bad we're not a few years into the rebuild instead of entering the first season. If that were the case, then this would be a good opportunity to get the kind of win signifying a program going from rebuild into contention. They will make mistakes and give us chances for cheap points. I would love for Oregon State to find a way to minimize their own errors and get this game into the 4th quarter.

You know, I think we're going to catch lightening in a bottle. Ohio State U -- inexperienced QB, new offensive coaches, and favored by 31; OSU (us) -- new, innovative and experienced coaching staff wanting to send a message and something to prove as a team and as individual players.

41-7 sounds reasonable......Urban will call off the dogs late in the 3rd. no chance of a dog call off. those days are over. Now every point is a playoff maker.

The Committee made it quite clear this year that how you beat your opponents is far more important than who you actually played.
