Didn't Ah-hoy return kickoff's for a while? It seems absolutely nuts, which is why it is a distinct possibility! Yeah, they had him returning kicks.

This is from the dreaded Oregonian so heads up. articles.oregonlive.com/beavers/index.ssf/2018/02/brian_lindgren_wants_oregon_st.amp From what I've read, I can honestly say I just dunno about a hurry up pro style offense with spread concepts... Honestly I'm not bought in or convinced under Smith. I'm not bashing or anything. I'm just not sold on this. Smith is a great guy and all. But I just dunno about the schemes of the offense and defense. A pro style hurry up offense and a 3-4 defense??... Eh... Idk.... Maybe during the next spring game, I'll be convinced in to all this. baby steps: Get some qbs in the house that can fling it, run off the ones that are not above average passers. This is just basic clean up. It's not ruthless, it's not "big boy". It's being responsible with the most important position on the team x 10. Make the recruitment of linemen and receivers twice as important as other positions until the roster reflects this. Winning is two or three years out anyway so being truly "bad" at some of the small positions, while frustrating, is the preferable poison. It's better to choose your weakness than have it foisted on you. Go for it on fourth downs unless there is a real strategic advantage to punting. Keeping the score close for a while? you aren't fooling anybody when the score ends up lopsided anyway. Play call like you have nothing to lose and the players will play that way too. Keep it simple. Yoda didn't load Luke down with a bunch of passing trees he was expected to master by year 3. Timeouts are to stop the clock, and thus be able to call more plays. Timeouts are not for calling plays. Have the play call ready so the offense doesn't stand out there waiting. They should have no hesitation. This is my list. Everybody can have their own. I probably won't change my list even if you call me out on my flawed thinking.
