He gets trucked by linebackers and he's OK, but stretching...not so much.
This smells fishy, IMHO

Sulking because of the time/attention that Nick Mitchell is getting?

Is Vanderveen the emergency quarterback? . . . #4?

Sounds like his ego may be stretched a little thin. I realize he is only 18 years old but he is certainly not handling this situation with his playing time like a mature college football player. I did not like he demeanor on the sidelines last Saturday and did not like the picture of him in the Oregonian post game. Screamed of a little kid pouting, not what I want to see in a leader.

This is the downside to not fully disclosing injuries.. suddenly we're speculating that he's a bad kid with a bad attitude when all it could be is aggravating or tweaking a hammy. As far as the post game pic goes, I'd look like that too if I lost a winnable game and had to go stand in the middle of the field and sing the fight song. But that's just me.

I second georgevonbeaverstrom. Just because Seth has seemingly had a bad attitude at some moments doesn't mean he couldn't actually have an injury here. Dave Baldwin just commented to the media on wednesday commending Seth for how well he's responded to Mitchell coming in and getting snaps. lets not jump on the kid before we know all the facts.

bifocal has left a lot of comments on Olive articles. I "get" him (or her). Who am I kidding? bifocal isn't a "her".

No one sad a "bad kid"... bad attitude was evident most of the time he was on the sidelines... "oh... poor me... everyone look at me I got pulled..." Was nonstop pouting... young or not, that is not a leader I want on the field. His attitude or lack there of is far more important than his physical development.
Once we have Moran, maybe another JC QB(?), on the dotted line I'm thinking from this staff's expectations/wants Seth's attitude best be greatly improved or he will not be around long.

Once we have Moran, maybe another JC QB(?), Next year when Gaon the dotted line I'm thinking from this staff's expectations/wants Seth's attitude best be greatly improved or he will not be around long. Next year when Garretson is the starter. Mitchell is the backup and Moran is the "redshirting unless there is an emergency" #3... Seth will need to start learning how to run routes... He is our next Tim Alexander! I don't think he has a bad attitude, or is a bad kid, but it is difficult to come to grips with the fact that he may just not be a D1 QB... like all the other Big 5 D1 offering schools said... Of course he is going to be sad/mad about that. And I hope he fights like HELL to get back to being the undisputed starter! I don't think it will happen after watching him for 7 weeks, but I hope he is working on it.

LOL - you're basically already running the kid out of town based on your assumption that he's been pouting. Okay. Quotable "I sort of like it. All of a sudden (Collins) was the guy and all these things. You've got to earn everything you do in life, and sometimes there's setbacks and how do you act to the adversity? I think he has come out and really acted well this week. He's really put it on his shoulders, 'I'm the guy. I'm gonna take it.' Nothing's easy in life, and all of a sudden he had to step back and see what it is and now he's working his butt off to be the guy. He is our starter, but I like the adversity and having the kids challenged." -- Baldwin on how Collins has taken OSU's direction at quarterback

LMAO... great reading and comprehension there george... I'm pretty sure I have no say in "running him out of town"... try again and see if you can get the idea, then paraphrase in your own words... come on try and see if you can read WITHOUT reading your crapolastrom in between the lines...
And FYI... there is no downside to not reporting fully on injuries... it's confidentiality and fans have no need or reason to know. The people who are in the loop know what's going on... that would not include a message board. What "conclusions" are spouted on here or any other message board are biased opinions/guesses (whatever terminology you care to use) of interested fans (some? most? of which probably only bother to watch on TV and regurgitate announcers, beat writers, message board posts)... for the most part innocent entertainment.
