Tristan Gebbia to Baylor, huh? Has anyone mentioned that yet? not sure if it is a prediction or a done deal? I think/guess that the green check on the website means done deal...No green check on TB to BU yet I heard that Gebbia was in Waco in the last 10 days. I also heard that they signed the other quarterback, who was with Gebbia, so you may be right.

Thanks for the link! Great to have it all laid out right there on the (internet) paper. You, sir, are a contributor.

Wonder what his NIL deal is going to be at LSU I wonder that myself. It's also a nice opportunity to showcase himself in the upper tier of the SEC, which can't look bad on draft day. I wonder if he thinks he might make it in the NFL but it would be nice to have some "just in case" money.

I Was thinking that may have been a bit of an influence on his decision to transfer once he decided to play an extra year. He seemed to be pretty high on OSU's team next year a few weeks ago.

Makes sense for him, I guess (assuming he couldn't get a similar NIL deal at OSU). He doesn't seem to be a sure-fire NFL player.

Omar's Tweet. Hate to see him go but he's definitely getting paid and has a shot to up his NFL chances starting for an SEC team. Looking forward to seeing how he stacks up against the 'best' teams in football and if he can make a career of the NFL.

Still pissed a little. Oregon State athletics have to fight, and scratch for everything. Can't help but feel like our program developed him, and now he's bailing just when Reser will be done, and packed....contenders for conference championship.....but he needs to do what best for him......it's the age of Me before team....that, and $$$.....Anyway, I wish him well....unless the Beavs somehow meet the dirty swamp tigers on the grid iron.....then I hope we kick his ass

I wish him the best. He gave us 4 terrific years. I’m guessing he gets a very sizeable chunk of money to play one year in the SEC and up his draft position. If he doesn’t make it in the NFL, he at least gets the money LSU is paying him. We’re never going to win the money game with SEC schools, and I’m not sure we even want to go there. What should college sports be? Full on pro leagues? Semi pro? I’m happy to see athletes getting a piece of the pie for what they’re giving their schools, but the unregulated mess we have right now is not going to end well. The corruption and cheating is going to explode.

From a practical stand point I don't think NIL changes that much. It probably costs more in the free market but the same teams that were poaching, paying and cheating are just doing it in the light of day now.
Transfer rules tightening back up will settle things some. Borderline NFL guys 1 and done poaching has been a thing in the past and will be in the future.
