That is a very good thing to hear, the first real ray of sunshine for a program that has been nothing but rained upon (by its own) for 3 months now. It's a good feeling just knowing Syd is back in town.

What are her qualifications as a collegiate coach and/or recruiter?
I want to like this hire, but don't see how hiring someone based on the school name on their diploma will help the program stay anywhere near the level they have been at.

The same as Aleah Goodman's, who had never spent one minute as an on-court coach or off-campus recruiter when she was hired. Good enough for me. |
