Hallie Grossman, the Penn State grad. She is probably right, though. I do not think that you can compare Clemson and Tallahassee to Corvallis.

I don't blame him for leaving. Coach left, new system, no conference, a lot of uncertainty. And OSU and the MWC are modest in terms of big time college football.
And I'm not sad he's gone. He'll never live up to the hype. As much as I was rooting for him here, I was not impressed with him. Any glaze he got from me was because of orange colored glasses and hope.
Big (arm and body), inaccurate arm, plodding runner. Dan McGwire 2.0.

Corvallis had nothing to do with his milquetoast ass play. It ain't the city that had him ho-humming his ass around the field. I wanted to take a nap every time he took a snap.

"Blunted by a modest platform in Corvallis" is a dumb comment coming from a reporter who clearly did not bother to check how many people actually watched DJU play last season. And I expect DJU to be the same QB he was at OSU.

Who cares? Last season was an aberration for the Beavs. Sure we survived and ended up ok but we had a coach dreaming of new pastures unwilling to take care of business at home first. He didn’t utilize DJU in a way that would help him find success. And in our system he was just a fair quarterback with decent leadership skills.
And the reporter is full of s%#t. The Beavs were the best team available that would allow DJU to play consistently. A better team might’ve benched him. DJU left OSU with a year’s worth of quality experience, which is no small thing for a QB with as much negative press as he had. At least now they are looking at him differently.

When he said he was coming here I was super excited. Then, I waited. And kept waiting. He was….ok. Best of luck DJ.

He had the same problems at OSU that he had at Clemson. It should not have surprised anyone.
Don't be surprised, Florida St.

Speaking of DJ playing, can’t believe FLST took all those timeouts with a minute left.

Have to love the DJU 20/20 hindsight "haters" here.
Didn't hear too much negative when a guy with a few months in a new system, with a HC accused of having one foot out the door, lead a fairly mediocre team to an 8-4 record.
Sounds a lot like the WBB board... from the greatest kids on earth to complete losers because they made personal choices to hopefully better themselves in supposedly better situations.
I'm guessing GaTech's swarming D had zero to do with FSU's offensive struggles. Plus I'm sure DJU was at fault for the FSU D being on the field the last 6:33.
As for a specific performance... FSU is basically a new team. And, OSU will take DJU's # today vs a very good every game this season.
