Get a D-back who can elevate in-between the QB and the WR, jump and knock it DOWN. Textbook. Great job.

Also, his ability to prepare his teams for the read option is second to none.

What about Andersen bashing? Can we do that or is it childish?

I would take Andersen. However I'm a skeptic when it comes to the way he has handled the qb position. He has done a poor job at getting a guy that can throw.

Nope... but the childishness of constantly trying to bash MR does. If you could have either Andersen or Riley as the Beavers' head coach right now, who would you take? I'd take GA today and twice on Sunday. He's building something here. Let's not be petty. I love MR, but his time in Corvallis as an effective coach had come to an end. Let's see how this thing plays out. MR and MB had a tough day today.....but it was no picnic for GA and company. I like the improvement I see with a REALLY depleted team. I DON'T like the regression of the kicking game, though. Head scratcher to me.

Nope... but the childishness of constantly trying to bash MR does. If you could have either Andersen or Riley as the Beavers' head coach right now, who would you take? Moot point... GA is our coach. But, I'll tell you my major fault with MR was his loyalty and resistance to adapting to weaknesses. It's exactly what I'm seeing early on with GA. As far as coaching ability... x's and o's... developing players from low level recruits you'd have to favor MR by far at this point in their careers. But, MR is far more experienced. My question is... if BDC and our illustrious Prez would have made the same $$ commitment to MR... back in like 2010... as they did to a fairly unproven GA/staff would we be having this discussion? Would there be so many ungrateful MR haters?

I don't hate MR but he needed to be vocal about lack of financial resources! Not bolt out of town like a 'thief in the night' when Bobby D pulled that bulls%#t with assistant coach contracts. He had a lot of years to be vocal. 2010 is the year we started getting worked in the trenches, never heard a peep from until he was gone.
