Are we actually getting worse? Honest question.
I mean, there are myriad explanations if we are, but...am I perceiving that correctly?

I think some people have quit I watched the basketball team, at least they have a clue what they're doing. 4-0, entertaining and well coached. Watched about 5 minutes of football game, it reeks, I'd rather watch paint dry. Oh, another TD, now 28-0 1st friggin qtr. How can it get any worse than this pathetic mess loosely called a football team. I'll watch again when we actually HAVE a football team, or one that hasn't quit and actually gives a s%#te. Never thought in a thousand years that GA would lose this team, clearly he has. School record 28 1st qtr points by dawgs, that is how bad this team is. They may lay 90 on us, why not get in the record books. |

I am worried about the upcoming couple of seasons...
We do have solid peeps coming in and if they can continue to recruiting solid players then we will get better BUT the P12 seems to be having a down year and we are the 'worst' of the P12? I'm just really, really worried about the program right now...

I couldn't even find someone to come with me to the game...for free...so I'm here alone but probably leaving before long. I can't stop loving the team, and it's freaking gorgeous out todau, but I doubt I make it to the 3rd quarter. I hate to be that way, but I don't know if I can do 2 more hours alone with no entertaining football  |

My coworker has 4 tickets for today game and can't find anyone willing to go for free. How sad  Hope will fix it next season before the seats are full someday, probably not for a few years. |

Worst team in the PAC 12, and maybe D1 in years, maybe decades. Good thing there isn't another game at Reser this year, there wouldn't be 500 people there, and deservedly so. It's going to take a decade to live down this mess of a team, there will be LOTS of defections. When you have TV commentators laughing at you it is time to leave town. Right on pace for 90 or more, Petersen won't back off either and I hope he doesn't, if the staff can't get these kids to play maybe a total embarrassment will. I give up............ A new low for OSU athletics and football. ONE, ONE first down in a half of football, simply amazing and nothing else even close. I will NOT be watching the civil war, that will be a new national low. |

Been watchin beaver football since the 70s. .i honestly think this is the worst team I have ever seen. And I've seen some bad ones

Actually reminded me of the OSU teams I watched in an empty Parker Stadium. Maybe I'm getting younger! Not fun to freeze your ### watching these lads struggle.

1st and goal from the 8. I was expecting the wrecking Nall. But we blew that chance and ended up missing a FG.

I think we're getting worse because we're running out of people to can/want to play. O-line -- Andrews and Smith are redshirting due to injuries and Harlow is out as well; Woods, Brown, Nall, Cook, and Lucas have all been dinged; Collins is dinged; How many of the D are out due to injuries? Add to that, two of the QB's that Riley recruited can't play the position. Add to that --- youth. Add to that, the problem with depth we always seem to have. Add to that new schemes. These are kids, mostly very young, who haven't learned to deal with adversity. I expect that the coaches are getting a good handle on who wants to be here; who has the physical skills as well as the emotional skills. Thinks will improve. Remember, it's always darkest before the dawn. Go Beavs!! |
