I'm wearing orange and black all week, watching the game at home, and depending how it's going may flip over to the Apple Cup occasionally to send good vibes to the Cougs!
I still can't bring myself to totally believe there's no chance...despite all evidence to the contrary. (This fits the definition of a delusion, so I am officially delusionally passionate about the Beavs! #lifegoals.) After all, maybe this whole season has been a giant coup to smoke those *ucks!!
GO BEAVS!!!!

Watching Little House on the Prairie re-runs.
Actually Couglets winning would put an end to UW's bowl hopes. I'm ok with that.

I'll be in Autzen. I've been to every Civil War since 1998, with the exception of 2008 (I don't want to talk about that one.) Not expecting miracles, or really to be entertained beyond the first quarter, but it's become something of a tradition with my dad and brother and a few other friends and family, and I can't really imagine not being there and cheering on the Beavs.

Every year of the last several has seen my best friend and I get together at my place for the CW. We'll enjoy Nathan's hot dogs, Nathan's fries and see if da' Beavs can pull it together for a few plays as has been seen during the season. If GA and staff have some cool trick plays it'll be gravy!

GO BEAVS!!!! To be brutally honest I'll probably be drinking heavily and waiting for the phuck onslaught to begin so I can change the channel and end the misery that has been this season. I haven't been this unenthused since the last of the Avezanno days and even then I had the benefit of youth to carry me on. I hope I'm completely off base and they at least make a game of it but I would be completely surprised if they can pull that off the way they've looked the past few weeks. Then again I thought we had NO chance two years ago and we coulda shoulda won that game.

I'll finally be putting that MS from WSU to good use by watching the Apple Cup (Go Cougs!). Oh, and it's my birthday... which would be cool if the Beavs had a shot; but, well...yeah.

That being said, I too shall be wearing orange and black, praying for a miracle and probably drunk and depressed by the 2nd half. The only bright spot will be that my sheepskin does not say uofo.

To be honest, I have never been treated all that poorly in Eugene. Over the years, I've had a few college kids question my sexuality, a few extremely spray-tanned and intoxicated ladies barge through our tailgate and explain why they were so much better than us, and had a few pre-teen girls throw ice cubes at us and tell us how much we sucked. Pre-teen girls are the worst. How any of them survive middle school with any friends at all is beyond me. For the most part though, people are all there to have a good time and enjoy the spectacle of the thing. If you can get past the condescension and self righteousness oozing from the very ground itself, Autzen is actually a very fun place to watch a game. I'm not expecting too much vitriol from the Duckies this year though - don't think they'll really view anyone in orange and black as a threat. If a miracle happens and we quite literally shock the world, well then I might not make it out alive. In that case, I've really enjoyed posting with y'all this season. Even you, devildog

Actually Couglets winning would put an end to UW's bowl hopes. I'm ok with that. . . Seems UW could actually go to a bowl if they end up 5-7 per sports talk radio yesterday. Looks like there isn't enough teams at 6-6 or better to fill all 41 bowls --- so APR becomes the way sub .500 teams would be picked. UW has a really high APR, so they might have a chance to go bowling even if they lose The Apple Cup.

The season was over a long time ago so I'm really not that interested in the Civil War.
Beating Oregon this year would be little consolation for this craptastic season. I'd rather be 9-2 going into Civil War and lose, than 2-9 and win.
Yes the streak is annoying but in the big picture we have many other things to concern ourselves than the team down the road.
