I doesn't matter . They weren't adolescent child molesters.

The Domond thing is actually pretty similar to Luke's situation, aside from their age at the time of the alleged offense. In a move that would probably seem fairly similar to Luke attending therapy and not serving jail time, Domond agreed to pre-trial intervention for first-time criminal offenders, had his case dropped, and can apply to have the charges expunged from his record.
Side note: Domond graduated and used his grad-transfer exception to move on to UTSA, where he played his senior year for a former LSU assistant.
THIS is exactly the kind of thing that fan bases kill other schools for, yet when it's their own player, the mitigating of the charges or offense begin. "He was never formally convicted of anything...." "the details are murky, so who's to say what really happened...." "Seems odd that a guy with no history of violence against women would one day just decide to attack the mother of his child...." "the fiancee threatened him with a kitchen knife and pepper sprayed him...."
Being a fan clouds our judgement. It sucks, but it's true.
