Anytime someone ends a statement with “Period!” that’s a telltale sign that they’re completely FOS. Check out that clip of Sean Spicer discussing Trump’s inauguration crowd if you don’t believe me. I think I’ll pursue other options. Like re-arranging my sock drawer!

IMHO, athletes at Oregon State are in a great position as far as covid. Monitoring is very good. Sports could take place. Even with football being a contact sport, football could be safe. EXCEPT, Oregon State is an academic institution first and foremost. Once student attendance is introduced, the equation changes drastically. Community spread within the institutional environment becomes the reality. Community spread to the football players and other athletes becomes the reality. The "bubble type of environment" would be feasible except OSU exists as an academic institution not an athletic endeavor.

High end labs and research will be in person, but the vast majority of undergrad will be online. Students can still be on campus, but I can’t imagine why someone would spend $3k for a dorm room to stay confined in for 3 months.

And I will take the word of a friend that was actually at the inauguration over all of the alphabet channels and their photo-shopping geniuses paid with Chinese money. He was able to take his own pictures, and had a pretty good vantage point. Have a nice day

Well after this is all over tony can tell us what we should have done every step of the way and write a book on it. Fauci has done his best. Well, except for that heinous first pitch, that was pathetic. But face it-as educated and experienced as he is, he doesn’t know. None of the slam dunk experts on this board know. The President doesn’t know, Pelosi and Schumer don’t know, Biden isn’t sure where he is, Putin, Hillary, neither white or black Jake from State Farm know, No Governors know, players don’t know, school administrators don’t know, Larry Scott doesn’t know but knows he’s still getting paid, nobody knows the answer. But to say it’s not being politicized would be burying ones head in the sand. I watch the numbers in my state and county daily. I read a lot. In that area, the numbers don’t bear out the need to hammer the economy, keep kids out of schools, and keep restricting businesses. Masks? Sure, fine, whatever. Distancing, cleanliness obviously and absolutely. Using math, real life experience, and logic, I don’t agree with all the restrictions in place. But that’s just me and my opinion. Note that I didn’t end it with something akin to “period!” If I could up vote this 100 times - I would. There is plenty of blame to go around, starting with the bio-weapons lab in Wuhan. Then, the CCP that continued to allow international flights well beyond the time they new they had a problem, but stopped flights within their country, to say, Shanghai. Saying all, or even most, of the blame should be laid at the feet of the president is laughable and represents a bad case of TDS. Hind sight is almost always 20/20. Money and power, power and money. Take a look at Remdesivir, who developed it, and who stands to profit from it.

The conflict is that the Pac12 at least, and I think the NCAA, has said no sports unless student-in person attendance at the schools. I sure the hell wouldn't have been in a dorm in my day for the costs without actual classes. I obviously don't have a clue or answer. I debate constantly, usually with myself, the athletics versus academics role for OSU.

The big 10 and pac12 follow Dr. Fauci's advice the other leagues follow the advice of some guy who says like magic it will be gone in a month or two. I will follow Dr. Fauci. Anthony Fauci January 21, 2020 newsmax interview quote “this is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States should be worried about”. Anthony should work at the house of pancakes. You failed to complete his statement: "at the present time."

You would think tony could have presented some other assessment based on what was going on in China and in Europe at the time don’t you. I Dont blame the man but let’s don’t hold him to a lower standard and place all the blame on one mans shoulders.

Otherwise reasonable people believe a conspiracy that must have 10,000's of people in on it. It boggles my mind. A high ranking military official (or maybe somebody in the State Department, who knows!) says that Trump has been directed to take out the deep state because the USA is ran by Jewish pedophiles? Is reality that difficult that you have to fantasize another reality?
