Its not crazy that a HC runs guys off from a program, Saint Riley and Dennis both did it too.
The difference between that and Andersen is as long as I have been closely following OSU, (about 25 years) usually those guys ARE NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN.
Under Andersen we had at least 3 of the QBs he deemed unworthy go on to START at other schools. And not unheard of directional programs.
FLORIDA
IOWA STATE
FRESNO STATE
Again this would have all been acceptable IF OSU had a competent signal caller for the past few years or a young guy destined for the NFL type talent. NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS existed in Corvallis.

Geez! Let it go. This is a new era. New era? Jonathan Smith, Mike Riley, Jim Michalcik, Jake Cookus, Dan Van De Riet.... It all seems so familiar... and I mean that in a good way.

Move on. wtf. A former player is possibly going to be the first to test the NCAA's new "run off rule" and this is a discussion about it. How do you think this is not worthy of mention? Jesus Christ on a stick, we already have mods here, threads are moved off this board when they are off topic.. nobody needs you playing crossing guard in every thread, knock it off already.

If it stays a discussion of the "run-off" rule -- excellent. However, these threads never stay there. Sooner or later it will devolve into the standard Andersen bash thread. Apparently, alwaysorange agrees with me -- he started a thread about stuck-in-the-past threads. Yeah, we have mods. They don't seem to move many threads that go "off topic." Either they don't care [doubtful] or they can't keep up [likely].

The 7 threads a week that get posted in the future if you guys get your way are gonna be thrilling.

Geez! Let it go. This is a new era. How about you just don't post on the threads you have no interest in? It's been said EVERY time you moan about these posts - this will be a topic of conversation for a dozen years, at least. I'd suggest you get used to it, and learn to ignore these posts, because you will NOT stop the conversations from happening. SaveSave

If anyone deserves bashing in every thread, it’s Andersen. The last three years were a complete disaster, and I don’t think we can point to one single aspect of the program that is in a better position than it was when he took over.
