Wait why do we hate the Badgers? Yeah? I mean I am rooting for Ohio State because I want to see the committee justify letting them in with 2 losses because they are conference champs after passing Penn State over for Ohio State last year in the same situation but I have no hate for Wisconsin.

Yarber was a hell of a recruiter. Mike Johnson is working as the WR coach at Oregon, has some OC experience, hell of a recruiter as well. I’d love to see Mike Johnson on this staff. I can’t speak to his readiness to be an OC though.

Johnson has had 2 one season stints as an OC, both seasons he was caught up in coach firings so it's tough to know how he'd be if he were given the reins for a couple years. I've always been impressed with him since Riley 1.

I can’t speak to his readiness to be an OC though. He has done the job on 2 different occasion (1 year at UCLA and 1 year with the 49ers) so I think he is as ready as he will ever be. I can't speak to the job he did (neither team was very good and I didn't follow either closely) but its been 6 years since he got those opportunities so I am sure he has learned even more in that time.

Really getting off the original thread, but the big controversy happens if Wisconsin wins and Clemson wins. Clemson in. Oklahoma in. Auburn in with a win today. Undefeated Wisconsin doesn't get in as Bama moves ahead of Wisconsin. Definitely possible.

Plus, IF Wisconsin beats Ohio State - that's a quality victory. If Ohio State wins... Bama might squeak in.

The controversy comes if both Georgia and Ohio State win (Miami beating Clemson would also add to the mess) because than the committee has to somehow justify putting a 2 loss Ohio State in over a 1 loss Alabama (when they did the opposite last year) or putting a 1 loss Alabama in over a 3 loss Auburn and punish Auburn for playing for a championship while Alabama stayed home even though they would have put a 2 loss Auburn in over Alabama (essentially saying that losing a conference championship game is worse than failing to reach a conference championship game). They'd also have to contend with the 2 SEC teams in the final 4 controversy which would increase the calls to move to an 8 team tournament (just as 2 SEC teams in the BCS title was the death of the BCS system). I want to see some mental gymnastics from the committee.

The mysterious Sidd Fynch says Hayward to OSU, said Bray was coming yesterday. No one knows who this guy is but he keeps calling these things early and correctly (had Smith before anyone else). Also says Taggert to FSU is done. twitter.com/SiddFinch4

Also says Taggert to FSU is done. twitter.com/SiddFinch4No he didn't. He did say Keith Heyward is coming to OS. What do you mean no one knows who he is? He was featured years ago in an April 1 article about the next pitching phenom in MLB.

So Wisconsin playing Utah St, FAU, and BYU isn’t lousy? wins over Ohio State and Penn State, 2 NY teams, better than Mississippi State. Not to mention they are conference champ. Alabama is out. Can't imagine the committee putting Alabama in a week after they got best by SEC runner up.

That is where this guys handle came from, no one knows who the actual person behind the twitter handle is.
